Dr. Schutz VIROBAC —
hygiene built into the floor.

An antimicrobial coating system for resilient and hard floors, designed to inhibit microbial growth on the coated surface. Our certified installers can pair it with verified slip resistance.

What is VIROBAC?

VIROBAC is an antimicrobial floor coating system from Dr. Schutz, a leading European manufacturer of professional floor-care products. Integrated into the floor’s finish, it is designed to inhibit the growth of microorganisms on the coated surface, adding a layer of surface hygiene to floors in environments where cleanliness is critical. We are certified applicators of Dr. Schutz coating systems.

VIROBAC is an antimicrobial surface treatment. Any efficacy figures and regulatory registrations follow the manufacturer’s current documentation, and claims are limited to the treated surface. This is not a public-health or infection-control claim.

Where antimicrobial flooring makes sense

Hygiene and safety, together

Because we measure slip resistance for a living, we plan a floor’s hygiene and its traction together. A coating that’s easy to keep clean is worthless if it’s slippery when wet. As certified applicators, we can specify a VIROBAC system alongside a slip-resistant finish, then verify the result with slip testing.

Common questions

What surfaces can VIROBAC be applied to?

It is formulated for resilient floors (vinyl, PVC, linoleum) and other hard floors compatible with Dr. Schutz coating systems. We assess your floor and confirm suitability before quoting.

Does the antimicrobial coating make the floor slippery?

Not when specified correctly. We can pair the system with a slip-resistant finish and test the wet slip resistance afterward.

How long does it last?

Coating longevity depends on the system, traffic and maintenance; we’ll give you a realistic service-life expectation and a maintenance plan for your specific floor.

Add hygiene to your floors without losing traction.
