Measurement, not adjectives
Slip-and-fall matters live or die on evidence. “The floor seemed fine” and “the floor was dangerous” are both worthless without a number behind them. We provide standards-based slip resistance measurement: PTV under ASTM E303-22 and wet DCOF under ANSI A326.3, documented in reports structured to the ASTM F2048 format, with instruments validated to ASTM F2508.
For insurers and risk managers
Proactive testing is cheaper than claims. A floor safety management program across an insured’s properties documents diligence, flags hazards before they cause falls, and gives underwriting a real risk picture. After an incident, fast post-incident testing preserves the surface condition while it still reflects the incident.
For attorneys — both sides
We’re retained roughly 50/50 by plaintiff and defense counsel, and we provide the full arc: early case review, site testing, defensible expert reports, and deposition and trial testimony that a jury can follow. Common questions
How fast can you test an incident site?
We prioritize post-incident engagements because surface conditions change. Call as early as possible, ideally within days of the incident.
Do you only work for the defense?
No. Roughly half our engagements are for plaintiffs. We testify to what the data shows.
Are your reports admissible?
Our methods follow recognized standards and our instruments are validated to ASTM F2508. Those are the documentation practices experts and courts expect. We provide technical analysis, not legal advice.
